Information collected and purpose
Edge Construction and Renovation collects the information you provide in its quote request form: name, email, phone number, municipality, project type and description of the work. We use it to assess your request, prepare a quote, contact you and follow up on your project. The form also collects your consent confirmation. Information provided by email or phone serves the same purposes.
Your choice
Submitting the form is voluntary. Fields marked with an asterisk are necessary to process an online request. Without this information, we may be unable to respond or assess your project. You can contact us by phone instead. Do not submit sensitive information, identity documents or banking information through the form.
Formspree and other providers
The form sends its contents to Formspree, which processes and stores submissions and enables email delivery. Information may also be processed by email and hosting providers needed to operate the website and communicate with Edge. Formspree may collect technical data, including IP address, browser and request time, to operate and secure its service. Read its privacy policy.
Processing outside Québec
Formspree states that it processes information in the United States and other countries where it operates. Email and hosting providers may also process data outside Québec. The laws in those jurisdictions may differ from Québec law.
Access and disclosure
Information relating to your request is intended for Edge personnel handling quotes, customer relationships and your project, and for providers needed for these activities. Any other use or disclosure must have a basis permitted by law or the required consent. Requesting a quote does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Retention and security
Information must be kept only as long as necessary to process your request, follow up on the project and meet applicable legal obligations. Deletion must account for copies in Formspree and email systems. Form submissions use HTTPS; no electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed risk-free. Contact our privacy officer to ask about the retention period for your file or request deletion.
Cookies and technical data
The current website code contains no advertising or audience analytics tools. Hosting, site access and form processing services may use technical logs or cookies necessary for their operation and security. You can manage cookies through your browser; some access features may then be limited.
Your rights and requests
Subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by law, you may request access to your personal information, correction, a copy in a structured technological format where applicable, or withdrawal of consent. You may also request deletion when retention is no longer necessary. Withdrawal may limit our ability to continue processing your request and does not override legal retention obligations.
